HEINRICH MITTELSTEDT (c.1895 -c.1970)
Heinrich Mittelstedt was born in Magdeburg. He moved to Buenos Aires in 1923 and later to the United States. He had a German wife named Anne; they had no children.
Heinrich visited his brother Max Arthur Adolf Mittelstedt in Cottbus in 1935 and wanted to adopt Max's son Werner. He visited Germany again in 1957 and wanted to adopt Max's granddaughter Illona and raise her in America but her father (Werner) said no.
Heinrich last lived in New Jersey and died about 1970 after which Anne returned to Germany.
